Default Actions

Often referred to as Small Claims Action, these are used for the collection of debts.

Judgment & Execution

Where a Defendant fails to pay a debt following the service of a Default Summons, the Court will issue a Judgment & Execution. This gives the Coroner the power to collect the debt on behalf of the Plaintiff.

Jury Service

The Coroner’s office is responsible for summonsing jurors for jury service at the High Court. The jury list is created from the Electoral roll, please note that the Coroner’s office is unable to advise you on whether or not you are eligible for exemption. If you think you should be exempt from jury service, please contact the Chief Registrar’s office
