Jury Service

If you are called for jury service either the Coroner or Lockman will call at your home to deliver the jury summons and they will explain to you the basic details as to what you should expect to happen.

Please feel free to discuss the summons with the officer, who will try to answer any questions you might have. However should you require any further assistance please either call the Coroner’s office on 822871 or e-mail jury@rushen-coroner.co.uk

It is important that the Coroner’s office has a contact number for you in case there are any changes to the trial that you have been called to.

During 2008 we intend to introduce a reminder service to jurors using an SMS service, if you would like to receive a reminder prior to your jury service please ensure that the Coroner’s office has your mobile phone number.
